Lisa L. Cowan

Lisa L. Cowan, Attorney at LawLisa handles a range of civil litigation matters, including property disputes, breach of contract and personal injury cases. She also practices employment law, including wage and hour and discrimination issues.

Lisa earned her LL.M. from UC Hastings College of the Law, graduating with an Intellectual Property law specialism and the Outstanding Achievement in Pro Bono Award. Prior to her Bar admission, she also earned an MA in Languages (Interpreting and Translating) with honors, and an LL.B. in Law with Merit.

David TerrazasDavid has a wide breadth of experience in business, administration and transactional matters. David joined the Brereton Law Office in 2015 and has prevailed in cases involving contracts, property disputes,  personnel matters, and administrative hearings, including negotiated settlements. David also handles wage and hour matters, and drafts employment-related polices and agreements, such as employee handbooks, employment agreements and severance agreements. In addition, David also conducts internal workplace investigations, advises clients on employment disputes and handles general civil litigation matters.

Aaron J. Mohamed

Aaron MohamedAaron specializes in trust litigation, employment counseling, and general civil litigation. As an experienced litigator, Aaron has tried cases to verdict in both bench and jury trials and has negotiated settlements in dozens of cases. Aaron has represented individuals, businesses, families, and estates in complex disputes. Aaron has also developed an asset recovery practice, where he has recovered hundreds of thousands of dollars for his clients.

Paul D. Peterson

Paul PetersonPaul has a wide variety of experience in civil litigation and transactional matters. Paul joined the Brereton Law Office in 2010 and has prevailed in cases involving elder abuse, mortgage fraud, disputes with home owner's associations, employment disputes and trust litigation, including dozens of negotiated settlements. Paul also handles transactional matters such as corporate and LLC formation, contract drafting and review, and estate planning. Paul has personally managed all stages of the litigation process, from discovery, to negotiation, to the trial itself.
