Danielle deMartino
Danielle’s practice focuses on trust and estate litigation, complex estate planning, business succession planning and general litigation. She provides fiduciaries and beneficiaries in trust and estate matters with the understanding and guidance they need to achieve successful outcomes. Danielle approaches every issue in a compassionate and creative way to help her clients understand their legal rights and options and to resolve difficult family conflicts so that families maintain positive relationships.
Danielle is a Director at Large of the Santa Cruz County Bar Association; and a Director at Large for the Santa Cruz County Women Lawyers’ Association. She is also the President of the Santa Cruz County Advocates. She currently teaches Moot Court at her alma mater.
Danielle was born and raised in Southern California and graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 2010 with a BA in Politics. After graduating, Danielle made Santa Cruz her permanent home.
Danielle went to law school at night while she worked full-time as legal assistant for a San Jose estate planning firm. After graduating from Lincoln Law School in 2019 (with honors), she continued with the firm as an estate planning attorney. But with grit and determination, Danielle achieved her goal of working as an attorney in Santa Cruz to serve her community when she joined Brereton, Mohamed, & Terrazas in 2022.
During her free time, Danielle enjoys hiking the Santa Cruz mountains, shopping at the farmers’ markets, cooking with friends and occasionally, roller skating.
